Taken quite far away. Did not have my telephoto lens at the time, unfortunately.Mount Shasta (Karuk: Γytaahkoo or "White Mountain") is an active volcano located at the southern end of the Cascade Range in Siskiyou County, California and at 14,179 feet (4,322 m) is the second highest peak in the Cascades and the fifth highest in California. Mount Shasta has an estimated volume of 85 cubic miles (350 km3) which makes it the most voluminous stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc. The mountain and its surrounding area are managed by the U.S. Forest Service, Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

I very much love Mt. Shasta, and this photo is great, but my eyes are very much drawn to the trees in front rather than the mountain herself.. I don't know if you see it like this too, but overall lovely photo

Such a wonderful perspective. I want to note that the caps of snow appeared quite powdery and in turn made the blues and green appear darker in contrast! ^^
