Description First time painting anything other than a human.  I used Yuumei's cloud brushes and a sky gradient for the background.

This looks great so far! I love the sky and background (I'm a sucker for clouds, haha), I'm sure they'll look lovely when you're finished the piece ;u; The blue of the character's eyes also go with the overall feel of the picture very well too (nice colour choice C: ).
