Diane continued to walk around but rather than trying to make her way towards where she knew Merlin would be, instead it was for another purpose. Her hunger had become too great for her to ignore and thus, she was searching for a source of food. This was much easier said than done thanks to her great size and her recent growth spurt had only made her even hungrier.

Even with her great vantage point, finding such a vast amount of food was proving extremely difficult. Her growling stomach was a constant reminder to her that she needed to find something to sustain herself. In every direction that she looked, all she could see was the horizon and a few towns. There was a temptation to do what she had done at Hallford but she thought better against it.

"Where can I…" said Diane to herself as she continued to look in more or less every direction. "No, there's nothing over there." She couldn't help but give out a sigh of frustration over this fact. "Why am I not surprised?" Suddenly she heard another growling sound which originated from her stomach. This caused her to look down at it and she even placed her hand over it. "I know, I know, I'm trying! Just calm down, I'll find something, don't worry."

To her, it still felt somewhat insane that she was having an argument with her stomach. It almost seemed like it was something out of an insane story and yet to her, it was real. This still caused her some annoyance as her stomach was now dictating practically all of her actions.

There was a small temptation for the elongated giantess to go back to the giant ant and eat that. But even she didn't think that she was desperate enough to eat an ant, even though it would definitely satisfy her hunger. Finding another food source however was very difficult to say the least.

Something else Diane was still adjusting to was the seismic detection ability that she had picked up after her recent spurt. Every vibration in the ground no matter how minor it was could be picked up by her. This gave her a good view of her surroundings even if she couldn't see what she was detecting.

Around a mile away from where she was standing, she could detect a hedgehog that itself was trying to find some food. Each step that it took could be picked up by the elongated giantess and this was the same for practically every other creature and person that was in the area.

The only type of creature that she couldn't detect were birds, this was only because they were flying and thus, were not in contact with the ground itself. One thing that she did notice though was that when she had been walking, her range of detection had increased. The vibrations that she had created herself had helped her be able to detect beings that were even further away.

This revelation did give Diane an idea as she lifted up her right foot into the air. She held it there for a few moments before stomping it down to the ground as hard as she could. This did cause a fairly large tremor to run through the ground and it increased the range of her seismic detection dramatically.

Even she was surprised with how far she could detect now as she could sense almost every living thing in Britannia. It was still a lot for her to take in as she was still coming to grips with this ability. She had heard that there had been a few giants in history who was able to do the same thing as her. But she was definitely the only one in living memory that had been able to achieve this feat.

Just as she thought that she was going to go hungry. Diane did detect something that immediately grabbed her attention. There was something big that was around ten miles away, some kind of animal that was enormous to say the least. Maybe even big enough for her to finally satisfy her hunger.

Immediately, the elongated giantess turned to look towards where she could sense the creature and although she couldn't see it, she definitely knew that it was there. It was possible that this creature that she could sense could be dangerous. Even at her current size, there was still a possibility that it could be a serious threat to her.

Diane did think for a moment as she thought that there might be a risk to her own health. This decision was taken away from her as she felt her stomach growling again. It was basically telling her that she needed to hunt down the creature as soon as possible. With the decision made for her, she began what to her was going to be a relatively short walk.

Her impossibly long strides made travelling any distance much easier for Diane. Her insanely long legs made up more than seventy percent of her overall height. It was still very strange for her to be walking around with such long legs as she was worried about tripping over her feet again.

The previous time this had taken place, it had been embarrassing for her. Even if there was no one around to see it, she would still probably die from embarrassment. Everything was simply so abnormal to her that she was still struggling to wrap her head around the current events.

As Diane stepped closer and closer to this large creature, her seismic sense abilities made her able to pick it up better. Each step that she took sent a shockwave through the ground which would then impact everything in its path and sent those shockwaves back to her. This allowed her to detect things that were normally below her notice. It also gave her an understanding of her surroundings that no one else in the world could even have.

This ability however wasn't completely unknown to the elongated giantess or anyone within her clan, Legends had it that there was one giant who lived thousands of years ago who was supposedly able to detect vibrations through the ground. They had been able to detect the most minute of things that even a human wouldn't notice.

Since no other giant had acquired this ability since, many were believing that the legend was merely a myth. Now Diane realised that the legends were actually true as she now had the same ability. It was likely that she too would become a legendary figure in the history of giants. Although for her, it was most likely not for the best of reasons.

As the elongated giantess stepped closer and closer to her target, she began to see exactly what it was. A creature that was unlike anything that she had ever seen before as for all intents and purposes, it looked very bizarre. The first thing was its fairly large size as it was slightly taller than she had been when she had been her normal size.

It had thick scaley green skin with a red underbelly. Its teeth were sharp and it had wings that allowed it to fly. Its claws were large and a long tail. For all intents and purposes that it looked like a dragon. Yet, she knew that she too was bizarre after her recent changes and she did wonder how she might seem to regular people. She had seen how Nadine was quite scared of her and she didn't really enjoy such a thing. It was natural for people to be scared of beings who were larger than themselves, but she was on another level entirely.

The creature itself was simply going about its business and even scratched its bell. Normally it wouldn't have to worry about any kind of threat since as long as it knew, it was the largest creature around. Even giants knew better than to try and attack it.

But suddenly it could feel tremors through the ground. At first it simply chose to ignore it as it continued to gorge on the vegetation that was around it. But with every passing moment, it could feel the tremors becoming stronger and stronger. This was something that it did find strange and impossible not to notice.

The creature itself turned its head towards where it could feel the tremors coming from and it was more than surprised with what it could see. Stepping right towards it was a giant so large that it thought that it was some kind of mistake on its part. It knew what a giant was but never had it seen on of this scale before.

Just seeing the sheer size of Diane and how long her legs were in comparison to the rest of her height was enough to make it begin to back away. By this point in time, the elongated giantess too could see the creature completely. Under normal circumstances, she would have seen it as a being who demanded respect and she might have even given it some kind of stroke or pat.

Now, the creature was nothing more than a walking source of food and as she looked at it, her stomach growled even louder. It was looking forward to the meal that was to come and she had even picked up her pace a little. To her, she imagined it being like a giant pig that she would roast and eat. That was unless it was her beloved friend Hawk.

Already, the creature had turned around and began sprinting away from Diane as fast as its legs could carry it. The problem was that this pace was relatively slow given its size and this was easily within the elongated giantess's range. She was able to make up the distance quicker than even she thought that was possible. It even began to flap its wings in the hopes of flying away but this would take time.

The creature tried its best to stay out of her grasp but before it even knew it, it could feel two gigantic hands grab onto it. Then it felt another sensation that it had never experienced before. Its feet were no longer touching the ground, this was something that wasn't too unusual at first. But it was the fact that all four of its feet were now no longer touching the ground as it was being lifted up into the air. It was the first ever time that its feet hadn't been touching the ground when it wasn't flying through the air.

It kicked out its legs in a vain attempt to try and save itself but this did nothing as it continued to be raised higher and higher off the ground. It also felt itself get turned around as it finally came face to face with the elongated giantess. Her efforts did seem to have finally gotten her the meal that her stomach had desired so much.

Diane couldn't help but break into a smile as she knew that she had succeeded. To her, something was going right for her although this was only a minor success in the grand scheme of things. But still, at least now with this creature in her hands, she would solve at least one problem.
