Thanks! It is funny because for my eyes the dial appears white (as it always been), but in this macro it is totally grey. I guess its how the light disperses on the surface .

i actually expected it a little bigger... as my first dd brought in a lot of favs. i think the current system is just not as great as before for artist exposure..
it did help in the long run and fuel my desire to be more creative. hope this does the same for you...

It's OK, man. I appreciate the support! Sometimes this "art" thing is so subjective it is hard to guess which piece specifically will be best received, and this is the case of this photo. I'm still puzzled about how the popularity indicators work on this site - definitely naked female bodies attract a lot of attention . Plus the "market" is so saturated nowadays that it is super hard to stay in the limelight. And then there is also perception... When I posted this picture on a facebook page for people using Canon 6D it was immediately taken down, because I wrote that I used Nikon bellows and Nikon lens .

I have 8-5 job which pays my bills and this page is just a big experiment designed to learn photography tricks and processing. I think I made huge progress in past few months and I have a couple of ideas I'm working on.

well... for me, what works the best are shots of Environments, Cat pictures and 3D Animations.
For example my latest work that features a very intense sunset had gotten over 120 favs in just about a day, while another artowork that features 3D render of an office that was WAAAAAY Harder to make got only 20 favs in about 2 months.

but i knew this was going to happen.
