TheFantasyManatee , here's your finished commission! I'm sorry, this took me so long and thank you again for your patience and understanding.

I made a ton of sketches until I finally had one that looked like I imagined. I still have two of the previous ones and will put them in the comments, so you can have a look at them too.

I decided to combine your cave and nightsky ideas for the background and therefore put him right in front of the entrance, looking happily in the great outside world, which seems also to fit into his story. The nighttime lighting was kind of tricky for me, aswell as the background and the perspective, which shows stalactite from the back, gods dragons are way harder to draw from the back than they are from the front!, but all of that turned out very well, i guess. I had great fun with this, though it wasn't easy, especially at the start. I like the result, hope you like it too.
