You have perfectly captured the elusive characteristics that set "eleven" features apart from humans. Far too much artwork depicting elves try to sell them as skinny humans with pointy ears, which is a cop-out IMHP. Granted, it's a difficult balance to strike; elves (or Eldar) are supposed to be simultaneously beautiful and alien; two features that don't mesh well. If the subtlety isn't exactly right, you'll fall right into "Uncanny Valley" territory. You, however, have managed to hit all the right nuances. Apart from being a beautiful portrait in itself, she is perhaps the most detailed, convincing, and nuanced depiction I have ever seen of a CraftWorld denizen. If only GamesWorkshop treated them with as much respect...

The portrait is awesome. Beautiful and with something clearly alien thrown in it. Perhaps one of the best depictions I've seen so far.

i like how you incorporated the sharp features that all eldar faces have.

You got me confused here. You have 2 light sources? Anyway, from all the eldar portraits I've seen yours looks kind of different. Perhaps 'stylish' is the word for it! Beautiful face traits ^^

Yup, 2 light sources (primary: upper right and secondary: low left, a bit from behind). I think it's a good way to show her sharp facial features

I thought our team is the only ones who r running with eldar in dark heresy (not even in rogue trader). Funny thing is that dice said that farseer wished to help us. (cant argue with d100=100 on "how happy is she 'cuz we reunited her with her fellow craftworldians" dice). Also we have Dire avenger which wants us to help her find a craftworld and a swooping hawk which is too shameful 'cuz she lad her squad into a slaanesh cultist's ambush and was raped

Hehe, we have her on board as an important plot NPC By far she haven't been shot by Flavia so it's ok
(also, she became quite close with Castus recently )

Sometimes not-being-shot becomes very complicated task

Luckily Flavia is Amalathian, not a Monodominant, so she's a bit more open-minded that "typical" Sis

In rogue trader "Free thinker" is a part of "Renegade" (in one pack with recedivist and dark visionary) background and "Deviant philosophy" is a part of "Tainted" background (in one pack with mutants and insane). Thats a good representation of imperial treatment of "open-minded" persons. Good thing dice said that invictus is a void born rogue trader. So xenophilia is background-approved

I'm still trying to find the best way to draw eldars eyes...
Adrian Smith style or Paul Dainton or Blanche...

Thank you ^^
I also had some problems with eldar eyes - I wanted them to look more "alien" than on most drawings. I admit I was also inspired by your way of drawing it

And, since last session, she's quite close with Castus - which brings many lame jokes about "how do they do IT"

Propably he uses telekinesis.

Actually, his main power is Biomancy = re-shaping his body in any way he can imagine :>

Isn't he a pyromancer too? Not so Dark Heresy does show him casting that Holocaust power isn't it?
But Biomancy is a fancy school of powers, mostly utility and support though.

Well, Castus is quite a potent psyker with many powers. His Biomancy helps with keeping party alive and "de-buffing" opponents (Agony, Drain Vigour, etc.). Once he had to "grow" wings to save Kalta (our Scum/ranged DPS) from certain death after she felt out of the window in the Scintilla underhive - 50 meters of free falling is deadly even with Catfall Trait Although the hardest part was to explain the rest of the team (mostly to Flavia) that he's not a mutant and what they saw was a kind of trick. And to explain quickly as Flavia was already pointing at him with her sacred boltpistol
He's not using Pyromancy too often too. Sure, it's deadly, but it hits quite hard both "bad guys" and the team. As I remember, he used Holocaust twice so far. Once, to destroy a deamon of Khorne (which almost killed the whole team as they were too close - luckily they had some Fate Points to spare ) and the second one to annihilate a leader of Hayate Pilgrims.
But he's definitely not a battle psyker. In most cases he's hiding somewhere, letting the rest of the team to deal with danger and healing them as they cut through cultists/xenos/etc. There's a joke (not so funny tbh ) that he's something between a rat and a cockroach.

Seems like you are playing a self constructed adventure? One of my DH characters is at the moment in the middle of the Haarlock triology, being a techpriest from the Gunmetalcity Hive. His main profession is building bombs, getting destroyed things back working and hacking all kinds of machine spirits, up to crusier size.

Yup, most of our adventures is written by our GM. Although, right now we are playing the last part of the Haarlock Legacy.
Well, if not psyker, I'd probably play Tech Priest Myrmidon or "heavy" Guardsman. Actually, almost every profession in DH has this "something" which makes it special and fun to play.
