Someone who had always been built up to be the hero, someone who was a messiah since before they were born, having been pressurized by a group of guardians he didn't even know....he basically just took their word for it like so:

"But all in all, there really was something behind it all that just made him snap. The fact that other purple dragons had fallen between the time of he and the Dark Master, the fact that he was NEVER told he was truly a dragon of great power, the fact that HE was the one set out to risk his life while the older, experienced warriors expected so much from him...."

At first, this WAS meant as vent art. It's a little tedious to explain, and it's hard to vent without sounding like an emo chick.
It's been one thing after another for MONTHS now, and I was pushed and PUSHED to the verge of completely giving everything up. It's mostly been centered around motivation; I just lost the will to create, to draw, to move foward, and what's worse is that I feel COMPELLED to constantly force myself to look happy when I'm just trying to avoid pity. And because my parents by no means have any understanding of what the internet is like and why it matters, it was something I had to face by myself.
Also, I kinda needed a sappy excuse to draw Malefor. Don't judge me.
