this is awesome!! i actually saw this image years ago when I was a teenager tripping on acid. i tried to draw it but this really brought back the memory. maybe a flashback or two... haha

Ive never had an acid trip but ive heard stories of melting computer screens and walls communicationg through calm vibrations.

I drew the face and painted it first then went through the book and closed my eyes and put my finger at a random place. The quotes you get may sound weird but end up working really well.

I just tried that with Bukowski's "South of no North" - I got this quote:
"You were too drunk to know. Don't do it again."
Seems to work pretty well, but I think it largely depends on the choice of the book.

I think the quote you got would work well on something like the zomie on a toilet piece you did.
Sketch something out then find a quote to go with it, it usual works wonders... unless you get "John opened the living door" or something equaly as benign.
