Description
I am trying to practice drawing as much as I can lately, and I thought it might be good to try out a little more game-ish style (though it ended up more like a board game style? Not sure). I thought about this cute character for some kind of platform game, who'd be turning into Octopus while in the water/swimming sequences. And you know what? Drawing tentacles is surprisingly fucking big pain in the ass. Not a fan.
So yep. Octogirl.

Within the last few weeks I only thought about doing a little RPG game of Crumble & Mush xD There are some pretty cool programs to easily program everything.
A friend of mine started with his own game too and still works on it since 1 year. When this looks awesome I think I'll try to do at least one map or something like that :3

That's so cool! I can't program anything and I am really not good with any programs, even as simple as Flash etc, but you can always do the drawing and ask someone to do the programming! It would be pretty cool, especially with that chibi style of yours!

Wuhu. Surprise surprise. You don't need any programming skills to make a solid RPG by your own.
On Steam (a gaming platform for PC) is a programm for sale called "RPG Maker". With this program
you can create your own RPG, characters, skills, story and so on. So if you are interested in such things
there are a lot of opportunities even if you can't program by yourself neither can I
I asked my friends several questions about implementing own data like illustrations, video sequences or even own music.
If yes.... oh dear... mwahahah

Well I know you can make a simple game without any programming skills, but I was thinking about more advanced types of games Then again, making illustrations for the indie game would be a nice start of the career in this business too
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you for being able to get yourself involved into your friend's game! What I envy you almost the most about the design academy is that you'll surround yourself with skillfull, artistic souls and you'll be able to make TONS of contacts and form partnerships and/or collaborations on other people projects like these! I dunno, maybe I need to start hanging out around the graphic schools some more, I definitely need more artistic friends around~!

Feel free to talk to me about art and stuff everytime you want. I'll take time to discuss with you everything <3
Critique and other things included. When I learn some stuff I think even people outside this academy should know
I'll share this at least with you okies? That's a promise!
I personally would like to do kind of sidescrolling game with C&M. Do you know the game "The Lost Vikings".
You play with 3 different Vikings but can only control one at a time. There is Erik who can jump and sprint,
Olaf who has a undestructable shield and can hold it upside his head (you can jump on him to get to higher places)
or block enemies with it and there is Baleog the sword fighter and bow man. You need to coordinate every Viking at
the right time to get through all the levels. It was so much fun and difficult to be challenging. I imagine something
similar with Crumble and Mush. Crumble can use some tech devices or build some tech, jump and talk etc while Mush
is the shield and fist and anything else That would be awesome but unfortunately there is no easy peasy program
to realise such an idea. But okies.

Awww :3 That's actually one of the sweetest things ever, thank you and I am going to be counting on you!
Dude, the idea is so awesome! Crumble would work as a healer for Mush too, and there'd be a cute animation when she repairs him and all the drills and screws fly around when she does her magic And she'd be the one who can sneak under the obstacles, climb tricky ledges and jump above the holes, and he'd be the fighting one. There was this "Never alone" indie game lately (I think that's the title) where you were a girl and a magical fox - there were apparently some bugs with the gameplay but it looks totally adorable.
And I want to help with designing the game! Can I help, can I heeeelp

Oh yes! When there is the point I decide to do this you are definitely in the team <3
I know which game you mean. I've watched a trailer lately but never played it.
Fine. Now I want to do this game xD
But I should keep my feet on the ground and finish the first episode of the comic first haha

Yay And you know, indie games are big now, so there would be a big chance to kickstarter it too
it might not be a bad idea to find someone who knows a little more about making games though, so it looks nice and appealing

Ay but to be honest. If I'm going to spent time on producing a video game the comic will drop and that's not my intension. If the comic turns out to be great and loved by a few people I'll stick to that. If not? I try to get my visions done with other mediums
