yeah, but design teachers are merely teachers. and teachers, though grand in the respect that they can teach, are typically lame.
my design teacher also always found something wrong with my work. i think i got over it... i think.

maybe they're trained to teach that way so that you grow accustomed to the harsh realities that face the average working graphic designer/ my advice is not to stray from your acquired taste. and shit, man, chaos runs in our blood, no need to stiffen up to guidelines. it's always good to loosen the strains a bit.
