It is sad that Hasbro RUSHED the show and cancelled it. It was actually a VERY good show! I am for having a kid friendly show, but DO NOT TAKE AWAY OUR TEEN/ADULT oriented show

My sentiments exactly. Loved the series, hated the followup movie. Felt like a big rush job.
I personally feel TF Prime should've lasted a couple of seasons more.
Maybe I can write them myself, I have a few ideas, plus a worthy wrap up movie.
TF Prime is my fav after the classic series (S1-S2 plus the '86 movie).
FYI I was born in 84, and I will admit some episodes in Season 2 were cheesy but it did have some good episodes.

Hey NOTHING wrong with being a G1 fan. TF fans are so hung up on GEEWUN this and BAYFORMERS that. When in reality they are all connected universes anyway! Marvel had a bunch of different universe before they pulled their recent stunt. I love all aspects of Transformers and it pains me whenever I see people bashing Bay because they think G1 is the end all be all. I just want us to all get along. (I am starting to sound like Beachcomber! I SWEAR I AM NOT HIGH LIKE HIM! LOL)

Sorry, but I have no love for Bay's TF movies. Part of me feels like they destroyed my childhood, but I believe a friend told me something to counter it which, works. Anyway, the '86 movie is LEAGUES above anything Bay has contributed. So I'm a G1, IDW and Prime (Aligned) fan and that's all I'm saying in the matter and proud to admit it.

That is fine, we are all entitled to our opinions. So long as you do not like Kiss Players WE ARE COOL! LOL I can accept a lot of things being part of TF....... Even that Evangelion Story crossover (That made NO sense).....I can not accept Kiss Players. lol
P.S. I re-read my message and I realised I wanted to say it pains me to see people bashing bay and thinking G1 is the end all be all. I have NO issues with G1 people! I love G1 myself! I like Hot Rod...... HATE Rodimus Prime. Funny how that works? lol I feel if Rodimus had Hot Rod's personality it would have made for an interesting Prime. Instead we got WHA! I WILL NEVER BE OPTIMUS! lol

But we are getting the new series next year that is a continuation of Prime. It will center on Bumblebee from Prime and Optimus I believe will make a cameo even though he sacrificed himself. It is also going to have a much more 2D animation, kinda like Rescue Bots.

Well it is easy for you to find DVDS on Amazon.ca or .com so you shouldn't have ANY issue with those websites...........If you TRY to find toys on Amazon.ca and .com you will be hard pressed lol

Actually the show wasn't canceled at all. It was meant to end at around 65 episodes so it did end on it's own terms and not canceled.

It was supposed to be longer and have 26 episodes and Seaspray was supposed to show up like the Dinobots were. They CANCELLED the show and shortened it and RUSHED IT! lol. I know ALOT about TF so....yeah lol

Seaspray was planned to be in it yes but they couldn't find a way to add him in. Also there was no proof of the Dinobots were going to be in the show though the writers did express interest in it.

They cancelled the show because BAY was making his 4th movie. YES they "finished" the show with halfassed writing and animation BUT it was cancelled because 2 things.
1. Parents were bitching that the show was TOO VIOLENT and SCARY!
2. Michael Bay decided to make the 4th movie and Hasbro see's that it is a bigger money maker for the toy business so they canceled the PRIME show to make room for the toy shelves for Age Of Extinction.

1. I don't recall parents having problems with the violence of the show at all. Besides we have Rescue Bots around for th young kids so it's not like they jave other options.
2. IF you looked at past interviews the writers did say that doing 65 episodes was indeed their intent just that BH was thrown at them during the making of season 2 which made the rest of the show seem rushed. AOE did not have anything to do with the show ending because the show wasn't canceld.

I finally got a hold of Season three on DVD and have basically finished collecting the whole Transformers Prime series as well. It saddens me that the series is cancelled as well, especially because of how short the season was. I wish it had a full season because they could have done so much more like actually throw in another Predacon that somehow survived the eventions of Evolution, or have not only Seaspray survive and join the team but also have Grimlock appear. There was once an article that mentioned Grimlock appearing in season three with his Gregg Berger reprising his role.
How awesome would that have been to have Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, and Gregg Berger working on Transformers again?

Then I guess we'll have to hope that Grimlock survives in Age of Extinction instead, and pray that Gregg Berger reprises his role in that movie since we didn't get that in Transformers Prime.

yeah well I am wondering IF people got TF Prime confused with Age Of Extinction. AND when someone asked Gregg if Bay came up to him and asked him to play Grimlock, would he? He looked at them and said "I will do the character justice just wait and see".

Me too, after all there is only one true Grimlock.Granted David Kaye did a good job as Grimlock in Transformers Animated but he's no Gregg Berger.

same. I kinda stopped caring about voice actors for Optimus and Megatron a while ago because I realised Garry Chalk isn't trying to match Peter's performance and is doing his own version of Optimus and you know what? It worked! I didn't really like David as Optimus but again I respect that he was doing his OWN version of Optimus. I REALLY like his Beast Wars and Armada Megatron though

Yeah I think David Kaye was trying to sound like Gregg Berger's G1 Grimlock while trying to be different at the same time. In the end he sounded more like a softer version of Hardshell.

but if you read my description it is for a stupid reason they canceled it. It was apparently scaring young children so parents complained. here is the thing though. THEY HAVE RESCUE BOTS! If they do not like TF PRIME then go to it. Do not ruin it for other people -_- AND they also canceled it because of Age Of Extinction. They want more shelf space for THOSE TOYS! well we do not care if they make toys or not but canceling a show just because toys are not going to be with it is STUPID! Also the Movie line kinda made me sad last time because they did not release Wheeljack, Leadfoot and Soundwave -_- I was looking forward to those deluxes and they were canceled for TF Prime. It makes me SO MAD! And if that isn't all, there was a Transmetal Beast Wars Megatron being made from FOC Grimlock. HOW MUCH YOU WANNA BET IT IS EITHER A BOTCON EXCLUSIVE OR CANCELED!
