Ok, so to help myself get back into the groove of things, I decided to start by coloring one of my older pics, because I thought it was really cute. However, I'm having a horrible time trying to fit a background to it, so I decided to put her up here for some constructive criticism.I'm not sure but I think the final product is supposed to be a cute girl standing in the middle of a swamp for no aparent reason other than that it gives her some sort of joy, based on that silly smile she's got.

*EDITY 1: Ok, so now I've gone into the fine details of the girl, but I still have to go into the background and add in the bushes in the foreground, but that's going to wait. I feel like playing Star Wars for a bit. Comments, suggestions and CC still welcome.

Cool stuff! my only advice would be to add dark shading to the background and make the moon ripples travel in the same direction as her reflection. Cool work and glad to see you back ^^

Oh, there's still lots I want to do with this one, like lineart in the background, and bushes in the foreground. She's not supposed to be standing in a lake or pond as it seems right now. More like a little watering hole type deal. I think she's not really a girl.. but more a human angler fish type deal.. what's it... a siren?

Haven't seen you for awhile...
I like the water and the highlights on her, and any criticisms I give end up being wrong, so I'm going to keep my mouth shut on this one. But I do like how she looks... ^-^
