In my humble opinion, this is certainly not your run-of-the-mill art... I think the level of this art stands way above the average and creative, well sculpted photo. This is great work!! A very small gallery, but work done very well, I hope to see more.

By saying this would be no art it becomes some kind of art. The photographer can't control the reactions of his work, you got an intention, of course, but no control...
So I think if your work results into an emotive reaction to the observer you made art, if you want or not there's a result which is not the witness of an time period. It's no corpus delicti, no portrait with intention of a client or something else...
It's just made and left behind to act on my mind...
