i do my best to spread the word amongst my artist friends, but most of them just don't see the iPod Touch/iPhone potential.

Check out the iWallFlower app, if you haven't already. It's pretty crude compared to iDoodle2 (my favorite drawing app), but it's also pretty cool. Unlike iDoodle, you can get vectorized PDFs from iWallFlower, so you could reproduce the drawings at any size without losing resolution.
