That "Blue Green Lake" shot of yours is great (along with many others). Is that water that green always? What a scary story that goes with it too.

No, I think it was the combination of three different types of light (florescent lights under the roof of the pier, a bright incandescent light on a pole outside the pier, and then the lightning through the clouds) and the long exposure that all combined to produce some funky color and lighting effect. I never would have expected it to come out that way, but was happy just the same.

i was downtown that day. it was eerie how you pretty much couldn't see anything above the height of the ford center.

yeah... rare we get that kind of fog. I've been to places like Seattle and San Francisco where you can't see your hand in front of your face, but this was pretty dense for us.
