2nd WIP snap... not sure if i will get to finish this study though. But i have enjoyed it up until this point.Maybe around 7 hours painting at most.

Ahh yes, very nice work. The eyes are being guided nicely already, but I'm sure there'll be more. You took the obvious route with the pointing and the snake-thinger (which doesn't make it any less impressive)
