Love this pose! Cool rendering too! Why you left her face unfinished?

I find face's can detract from the form of the piece as your eyes are automatically drawn to them. Also i guess its a body-form study.

I'm obviously not the artist, just a thought though

In the end it's a study and I think he wasn't interested on finishing itΒ

It's actually cool just the way it is.Β  Since the rest of the picture doesn't leave much to the imagination, at least we can ponder what expression she might have...etc.Β

Stunning value control! I'm trying to do a load of value studies at the moment and I feel like this is showing me exactly how it's done

I can't get over how beautiful this is... slightly unfortunate that while I'm admiring it my eyes keep involuntarily drifting to her bum, but it's a nice bum so no harm.
The whole style and texture to the piece... amazing. I know you said it's a quick study, but wow. I'm still a beginner artist, but this is definitely the kind of thing I'd love to be able to create.

Thank you!

Its all thanks to pinterest, there are tonnes of anatomy and portrait boards on there. Also on each photo you open, if you scroll down there is often a whole selection of similar photographs too.
