I am on the road to that aswell. I already ave about 6 chapters all written out and I am making the roughs for chapter 1 and having editors check it out. Have any advise? Much appreciated.

Hard to say -- I feel like you have to have a fairly large fan base or well known previous works to be successful on Kickstarter.
