Black Rose #1 is now available for purchase at BLACKROSECOMIC.COMPenciled, inked, and colored by myself.
Black Rose is a creator-owned Fantasy-Steampunk comic book project I'm currently developing along with writers Chris Arndt and Brandon Peat.
Issue One summary:
The inaugural issue introduces Arion Nelkan during his final days as a soldier in the Athelican military machine, which is on a campaign of conquest against the handwaver nation of Ishtakar. Let’s just say that things don’t go exactly as planned…

this comic is way sweet, beautiful grittiness, I like when fantasy stories are dark and ominous.

Aaron, you guys should look into POD (print on demand). This way anybody can buy a copy and have it mailed to them by no means of your own and get a check every so often mailed to you/the creators. Just a thought. My friends and I over at Equinox comicsare planning on doing this ourselves.
