This is a big part of why I didn't crank out a comic page in the few days I had before leaving for Otakon. A print of this was made available for the art show.
I learned a lot this weekend and I hope it shows in my upcoming art. <3

I understand about the lack of time in preparation for Otakon, but Still... this is a powerful artwork nonetheless; especially love the gritty take with the bleeding small wounds and the wild fire in the background. The deep colours blend perfectly with your wholesome art-style as well.
Definitely Looking forward to your upcoming graphic works! Keep it up!

Nice shading and coloring, particularly on her hair. The frost magic is nice too, but the fire is maybe a little too basic? Some more in-between colors might help with it, instead of just the red and yellow. Also, her legs. The shading on her boots is great, but for the life of me, I cannot tell which leg is which. XD; She's very flat from the waist down. Since the wind is blowing so hard, contouring the skirt to her hip and leg would be a realistic way to add dimension there I think.
I hope Otakon was fun and profitable!

I agree on all counts. If I ignore how little time I had to put into it, I'd be downright angry with it. Those are all points that have had me pullin' my hair since I had to save and head to print. There's always next time though. /nod

The shading, those flames, that hair, and of course whatever she's about to blast the camera with - well damn boy, that's quite a bit of work you did there. Bet it makes a gorgeous print.
