Submission for Day 13 of EQD's ATG 2: Draw a pony in charge/in the lead.

Originally, I was going to draw both Shining Armor and a fellow similar to this pony looking like they're in some form of rivalry. But that fell through when I was displeased with proportions and stance so I changed it to just him. Coincidentally, I based his armor design, for the most part, on 16th century Makluk horse armor. Hence the helm (minus the crest) and the splint-mail on his neck and flanks. OTherwise, it's also a hybridization of normal Canterlot Guard armor and what Luna's charioteers wore in her return episode.

EDIT - I don't normally do these as prints... But I slipped. Oh well...
