For Power Rangers, a live action reboot film based on the Mighty Morphin series directed by a fan of Power Rangers who directed Project Almanac, Dean Israelite, and written by X-Men First Class writers, Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, and the producers were Cinderella producer Allison Shearmur, and Dino Charge executive producers Haim Saban and Brian Casentini. Why no Roberto Orci? Because he left to produce Star Trek Beyond with Justin Lin. And it was supposed to be in 2016, but they pushed back to 2017. And it will probably take the tone as similar to a few of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and Pacific Rim, as in a balance between lighthearted fun and grounded themes according to Israelite.
For My Little Pony, an animated movie separate from Controversia Girls, will be made by Hasbro Studios and its new self-finance film division, Allspark Pictures. Mike Vogel and Equestria Girls creator and writer, Meghan McCarthy are the executive producers and Joe Ballarini will write the film. However, I put Jayson Thiessen's name because I want him to direct the film like he did with EG and the show and to help the crew to do anything they can to have its movie feel like a cinematic animated masterpiece. No, it's not CGI. Yes, it will be 100% pony centered. And I hope they release it in stereoscopic 3D and IMAX 3D.

BECAUSE IT AIN'T LIVE ACTION! IT'S GONNA BE ANIMATED AND MADE BY THE SAME DIRECTOR-WRITER DUO THAT DID EQUESTRIA GIRLS! (aka Jayson Thiessen and Meghan McCarthy, they also worked on the show.) WITH THAT, IT'S HOPEFUL THAT THE MLP MOVIE WILL SAVE HASBRO MOVIES AS A WHOLE!

Besides, not every Hasbro movie has to have Michael Bay in it (even though Bay produced the Ouija movie, and the Jem movie was shit). GI Joe, Battleship and the Jem movie doesn't have Michael Bay involved in any of it, and people hate it. (At least I can agree with the Jem movie haters to some degree, because again, The Jem movie wasn't any good.)
