I've studied a lot of scenic American landscape paintings. Got a few favorites. I wanted to paint something captured every aspect I liked about them, and re-imagined these classic scenes through my personal and artistic lens. This piece is specifically inspired by the gorgeous North Fork Matilija Creek Trail in Ojai, California.
