I love the movie. Watched it a billion times and encouraged others to do the same. Haha. This does great justice to Stephen Chow, and deserves the attention and to be put up as a daily deviation.

yoooy !!!! Waaaahh !! I was really happy to see this art as a daily dev !! hehehe !! I love Kung Fu Hustle and Stephen Chow work in general.. Really so funny, and your piece of art is totally stunning: that's definitely him ! I love the way you used the lines: a lot of strengh in it.
I prefer this portrait's style to those one using smooth lines..

thanks alot^^ this is the use of strokes.. most artist who draw realitic blend everything together.. some of it looks like photographs.. but my style is called American Realism, came from the americans of course.. the technique taught in my college.. its doin realistic drawings or paintings using strokes, to make the work more artistic.. but its not extremely realistic.. anyway thanks again!

z yan, i disagree.
a great figure sketching is not determined by its detail or realism, but the mood it provokes.
the face is not overdone, and it blends perfectly well with the background.
the parts left out contributes to the overall feeling of concentration on stephen's face.
one of the best pieces in this gallery (to me).
