I've been very encouraged by a lot of the kind feedback I've been getting on my stories, and now that I feel a little more confident about my writing I've decided to announce my plans to eventually publish a novel I wrote last year
Now my goal is to drum up support and find a following in order to make that dream a reality, so if you liked this story, it would mean a lot to me if you followed me online- by adding me to you DeviantWatch, following me and my art on Facebook, or subscribing to my YouTube channel.
Thanks again to everyone for your kind support! I have a lot more planned in a lot of different styles and media, and I can't wait to start sharing it!

A lovely piece of work. Was it perhaps inspired by someone's actual experience? Perhaps in World War II ?

Thank you very much! ^_^ The story was mostly a product of my own mind, but it's entirely possible that there may have been real life counterparts. The war in the film is supposed to be more-or-less made up, but it definitely has its visual roots in a very WWII era setting. Thanks again for your kind words

oh my god this was beautiful! the artwork was so layton-esque and the backgrounds were solo beautiful and god this entire thing was beautiful! (but wow how did they survive that bomb)

The bomb was kind of "representational" I guess haha
Like maybe it didn't actually fall directly on them, even though it's visually shown like that. I just wanted to convey it overtaking their lives.

Wow.... so well done. What was the symbolism behind the glass soldier and his wife? Also, was it that both the main Character and his wife were sent music boxes with maps in it to each others locations? Thats what it seemed to me. Great idea.
