A big spiral for AnnaKirsten
I have a couple of different colour schemes saved for this fractal - these are straight exports from UF (ie unrendered):
Can't decide whether to render them or not!

Aww thank you very much Tina! I would love to see the others rendered as they each have their different appeal, but I do like this one best! (I've got some in preparation using RRL as an OCA; just want a little more inspiration sometime to complete it!

I'll post the green one, once it's rendered. In the mean time I've gone on to modify the original somewhat! Changing the formula from TubeJ to Big Brew Julia opened up many more options.
My poor old laptop is struggling to cope, though! I have a feeling this will be very slow to render

I have a 4 core iMac with 4 GB of memory and a 20" screen.
That's about all I know about it.
It's oldish... 2007, I think.
It was expensive but it never gets big problems.
It renders me anything but I don't make very many layers.
In spring 2014 it told me the storage was full and I needed to delete things. I did a good spring clean.
I have thousands of pictures, lots of which were big.
Since then I am more reasonable and still have room for a while yet.
I've put quite a lot in the iCloud.
I have a memory cleaner which I use often every day and have thrown out things that blocked it up... I didn't know anything about that until my son explained.
I find it very hard to threw stuff out. I store it away and don't look at it... like old summer skirts, the Indian cotton sort. I look dreadful in them now. I have a sort of beer belly! I don't even drink!
