I love the tone used in this, Nice prospective too, I like it alot though the bit noise does get amped by the toning (yes my cam has this issue big time too, hence the toned pics atm)
You still amaze me by your talents ^^

Thanks Used a filter to enhance the grain - wanted to try to make it look like the sort of shot that would have been produced on fast grainy film - unfortunately it's increased the noise a little too.

I'm experimenting with taking RAW shots at the mo - might be a good option if you want maximum control over your images.

I'd love to try but as it stands, I nether know how to support that file format on RevPHOTO nor can use it with the gimp , might look into it though

Problem is it's not a proper standard it's manufacturer specific I believe, so bit trickier to deal with. There are RAW format convertors but not sure about the Linux platform.

No, they all use a different format, which is a little bit of a pain, but I guess to be expected. Really does make a difference though, so worth persevering with.

The sky is fantastic, full of emotion. The perspective of the bridge is wonderful.

Thanks Tim - tried a few ideas with the perspective, but this was the one I liked best - wanted to avoid being too cliched - it's a place that gets photographed so much.

Thanks, I used a filter to add grain which particularly with the sky seems to give it quite a watercoloury sort of look - like when you paint wet in wet and sometimes the paints go all granular - bit like that

I love the angle of the bridge against the sky (which is very dramatic looking! Amazing clouds!). The sepia makes it look brilliant

Thanks, I found it quite tricky to try to find an angle that's just a little different and a way of toning it etc that would be slightly different from the norm for this - it's one of those structures that just gets photographed so much.
Glad you like it
