"C'mon now Colton, don't be like this" Cole grunted as he tried to guide the stallion alone the lead, but the large animal had its hooves firmly in the dirt. "I said... C'm'here now!" They had been at this for almost an hour now. It was like two rams butting heads, locked fierce and neither budging.

The two entered a struggle very briefly, kicking up the dust of the run. The maejling reared its head up, the whites of his eyes showing momentarily as he balked away from his new owner. Cole held fast, tugging on the lead, before his Uncle came running over. "What do you think you're doing boy?!"

Startled, the young man looked up, his hands loosening on the rope. Colton yanked the lead from his grasp and turned and ran to the other side. "Now look what you've gone and done Unc!"

"No," he scolded, putting a leg over the fence. "Look here what you've done! You are not going to get anywhere like that. You have to work together with him. Respect his space, but get him to respect yours as well."

Cole looked defeated and wanted to shrink away, and his Uncle softened. "I know you're frustrated, Boy. Lets get him round up and we will try again."

The two managed to coax the stallion back to them. "Now, just try getting him to walk behind you." Cole's uncle pushed lightly on the horses rump, getting him to walks forward. Cole lead the stallion around the pen despite the horses snorts and tail flicks, signs of his obvious displeasure. They went over various yielding and got Colton to turn in place, keeping his left hoof planted firmly as he preformed a pivot.

"Alright now, lead him back in to the stables,partner position." His uncle ended their training session. "If we keep this up we will have him under saddle in a few months."

This took me like 2 days aslfkjsgsg . cel shaded for the first time, i was so tempted to blend it out but i didnt. I think every stable piece I do, will include the little pony somewhere...
