ENGLISH VERSION (versione italiana qui [link] )I can't help thinking that hal of the thinmgs Varric tells to Cassandra are bullshit. And after having waited for months a game that was supposed to be the sequel of Dragon Age: Origins, and I have found myself proud owner of that... uhm, well, of Dragon Age 2 (you know, that videogame wit recycled dungeons, less logic than a Goofy speech, faithful the the lore previously designed by Origins and Awakening as Helen of Troy was faithful to her husband Menelaos? Yeah, that one...) I couldn't help to feel a bit mocked, as poor Cassandra is here...

You really have a point there... but... DA2 can't be fanfiction because of one fact: the sex scenes are LAME which might also be part of the things why some players think DAO was better xD hrhrhr

Uhm, I've read fanfictions with worse sex scenes than DA2, believe me...
And I WISH it was because of the sex scenes... what about (inconsisten) dialogues, (recycled) dungeons, (lame) quests, bugs, choices (that doesn't affect the game at all)...

back to the game I always suspected he had his passion for Elthina cause even if you trololo him in order to inspire go back and take care of Starkheven he just keeps on talking about Elthina, his duty to stay beside her and nothing else x)either it's simply way to escape responsibility or his chaste love to Grand Cleric
though cruelty of the developers is also an option xD
and I don't remember for sure but why Elthina, knowing he's the LAST heir and his disappearance means epic squabble for the throne and discord for the whole country, Elthina who seems such a reasonable and wise, seeking for piece woman - why didn't she deal a blow and shouted at this whiny guy "go back and do what you must, your buffon!" Yes, yes. It was an unending slap in the face. Games should make you feel like you've accomplished something, but you're only an extra in the most important decision. Great comic and list of a few of the annoyances.

As long as you aren't comparing DA2 with DA both games are pretty good. It's when you set them side by side that you have to wonder if they traded the writers for their evil twins - or goldfish...

See, until the third act the game has some problems but minor, the story is good until you become the champion... then they start to go completely senseless... ok, you probably want to leave some room for DLCs contents that doesn't make you restart the game to get the act 1 and act 2 stages, but... come on!
