Description   Link opened his eyes and quickly shut them again. Bright sunlight was streaming in from his window. He slowly got out of bed. He had had that dream again. The one where he was at the mirror chamber with Zelda and Midna. Link sighed; it had been two months since he had saved Hyrule and Midna left to rule over the Twilight realm. To Link it seemed like an eternity.
Since Link had returned to Ordon the only time he left his house was when he went to the ranch to help Fado with the goats. Apart from that, Link stayed in house all the time. Suddenly his stomach growled. Link sighed; when was the last time he ate anything? He went over to the fire and looked at the contents of the pot hanging above it. 'Yuck.' Link muttered, pulling a face.
He pulled out a bottle, which contained a small fish, and emptied it into the pot. Link sniffed the "soup" and felt like he was going to vomit. He looked inside all his bottles and poured a yellow liquid into the pot. After stirring it round a little bit, Link scooped up the "soup" into a bowl and tipped it down his throat. He realized too late that the yellow "potion" was in fact lamp oil. With one hand over his mouth, Link dashed towards the door and opened it. Falling to his knees, he looked over the edge of his balcony, and threw up.

Ilia sighed as she looked up at Link's house. She thought about how different he had become since he had returned from saving Hyrule. "When was the last time I saw him smile?" She thought to herself. Ilia then remembered Link's smile, his golden hair and his beautiful eyes.
She jumped as she heard Link's door opening. She stared in confusion as Link came out and collapsed onto his knees. Her look then changed to one of disgust as she witnessed Link being sick. She tentatively walked over and almost threw up herself, as the smell of fish, cheese and lamp oil filled her nostrils.

'Link, are you okay?' Link looked down and saw Ilia staring up at him with a look of worry and disgust on her face.
'Oh, Din! Please don't say she saw that!' Link thought, cringing. 'Uhh, yeah. I'm alright.'
'That's good.' Ilia sniffed, 'were you drinking lamp oil?'
'Well, umm, yeah. But I didn't know it what it was when I put it in the soup!' Link said defensively.
'Okay. Oh, Fado asked me to tell you that he doesn't need you to round up the goats today.'
'Alright, In that case do you want to help wash Epona with me?'
'Sure, I'll wait here for you.'
Link went inside his house and wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. He put on his sandals and adjusted his ranch clothes. Then went outside and climbed down the ladder. He untied Epona from the post and headed down the path to the spring with Ilia.

After returning from washing Epona, Ilia walked through Ordon but instead of going back to her house, she decided to go to the river. She sat on the little wooden platform and watched the fish darting about. Ilia slipped her feet into the cool water and watched as the ripples spread across the surface. She thought of Link and smiled to herself. She had spent an hour at the spring with him and Epona.
They had talked about Link's adventure all over Hyrule and about all the people he had met. However, one thing was bugging Ilia. When Link talked about everything he had done, he always explained it like there was someone with him, like when he explained how he escaped from the castle, he said "and then we made a run for it and we jumped out of the window." When Ilia asked who Link what he meant by "we" he just went all quiet and looked down at the ground.
