There are many things i love about this piece.
The lighting and shadowing on the deck, and the long shadow of the wheelchair contrasted against the open rays that swallow it, as if the owner still sat there gazing.
But no matter what I put my finger on, I cant help but feel you were lazy.

The contrast between the ceiling of the deck and sky are almost too surreal, as if the realness of the sky doesn't belong with the backdrop of the scenery; its too staged, the beautiful view of nature AND an amazing sun set, it's almost as if the wheelchair doesnt belong with these background combos.
Then there is the lone chair in the deck's corner, as if a visitor or guest or caretaker were the main point of focus over the actual wheelchair; there's almost a created confusion of main focus point; is it the hopeful perspective of the wheelchair-ed person you hoped to capture or the optimism of the mysterious wheelchair-man's mysterious guest? i say this because the chair, along with some of the deck and pillars, seem to be more aged than the actual wheelchair, which seems to be in amazing condition granted the abandonment of the item (and scenery) itself.
Also, the reflection on the windows are very clean, where as the door and opposite glass is quite dirty looking, almost as if there were a struggle with the angle of perspective overlooking the deck; inside viewing out may have been more successful in capturing the lonesom feeling of the wheelchair;
theres something that almost wants to give you goosebumps about this; but it just doesnt quiet get there; it's too mixed with color and contrast, it's almost confusing what you want the viewer to focus on most; it is a beautiful piece, but it's the individual imagery that makes this overall "breathtaking", the uniformity is...cluttered at lack of a better word.

i hope you not take this as bitter, browsing through your other gallery, and especially compared to your "Wheelcars House" piece, i know you have the talent and view to improve this piece; it almost seems unfinished, and yet something there not yet started. and i spose the mystery of that is why it's so appealing as well; the tones and contrast IS lovely, don't get me wrong. i just feel you were going for something else here and it wasn't achieved.

I liked this piece quite a lot, especially the contrast between the bright sky and forest, and the dark balcony. A rather lovely and pensive piece...

It is interesting what each person sees differently and that in itself makes it successful. I think it is perfectly balanced for that setting and the touches such as the door open inward and long shadows coming to the viewer as they should. I personally find the setting very peaceful and inviting but also that nothing last forever. I am glad you did not over dramatize the sky as it creates a more realistic take.Great spot,great depth,great shot.

I thought the sky and the lighting broughtΒ a different tone to it than many of your other pieces... more hopeful than haunting.Β  The chairs facing each other give it a sense of connection rather than disconnection.Β  It doesn't have the same grandeur as some of your other shots, but I like the variety.

Wonderful shot

but the trees to the right look flat, as if it were 3d or something.

maybe is because of the lens, but what do I know
