A beautifully warm and very calming scene is presented to us with this piece. The title "Silent Devotion" setting the tone nicely, along with the lighting, helping to convey the warmth and serenity of the enviornment.
There still remains, however, the farmiliar hint of neglect visible in Abondonzone's works, though for this particular piece being very subtle in comparision, and lending more of the shot to the peace of such an environment.
The balance of light and muilti tonal colours suffuse warmth throughout the shot, with the sharpness of the picture helping to bring out the lead deatiling of the windows and the fallen paintwork and masonary. Almost making this a shot of two halves, with the rough more textured side on the right and the smooth more peaceful side on the left.
There is also the rather nice inclusion of an inviting path through the shot, taking you through the gates, down the aisle and through the open door at the back, opening up the shot more and allowing the mind to explore, rather than giving a static perception of the scene.
My only personal critique is of the object just in front of the gates, initially i spent a long time trying to figure out what it was due to its angle, and not on the shot as a whole, as its quite central and caught my eye. However, thats just me personally and I realise may not include every one who views this. But a very beautiful and calming piece.

There is a good balance between light and dark.
But you might try taking the gamma a slight bit back.
Then there will be a little black on the front steps and the windows might come out a bit better.
That might enhance the depth of the picture as well.
That said the windows show the colors and shapes already and all in the room is clear and crisp.
Overall though a good shot with the light differences in the room and windows.
If you decide to edit, try the pincushion correction to correct the bent from the wide angle lens.
in this picture it will be comparative easy as the tiles on the ground can help as they are a known to be in straight lines.

This place looks more salvageable than some of the others. Hope they can fix it. I would definitely have a wedding there.

It's so beautiful! Why would anyone abandon such an amazing place? It should be preserved not left to rot.
