I just wanted to try a style different from my usual - and I'm not quite satisfied with it because it looks far more artificial than it is... I only changed the background and the colours/ the light tone to a colfer shade. maybe the artificial look is due to the heavy light relexion on the patent leather. hmmm.I'm always happy to get some advice ^^ so tell me what you think about it ^^

Latex, rubber and patent are tricky materials to light, perhaps try a large light grey area (bed sheet?) to bounce your key off would help avoid the hotspot highlights - however there's a wonderful, mysterious, other-wordly atmosphere in the environment and the pose suggests an interesting story. The ideas behind the shot are sound and that's why it's eye catching, less important are boring technical hitches - they can all be overcome - keep pressing on.

well it inspired to me to make a comic book style drawing referenced to this and may make a small comic or something with the drawing and with your permition considering i used this photo for refference...

sorry for not yet replying longer and not commenting on your wonderful characters yet - I've been sick for the last few weeks and on and off on antibiotics and not quite able to think clearly x~x

Look on the wall on either side of your legs. There is a shadow on the right side that is looking at you. there are heads of something at the base of both columns, and the tree on the right, this is something in that tree.

Just need to watch your light source.
The light is reflecting on you but not the background (especially on the pillars) that's all.
If you had a shadow on the wall from your dress (on right) would make more believable.
Dull the shadows on arm legs to right (this would match the darker background)
Just little things like that really make thing POP out....just a little goes along way
Nice concept, your cute, the expression really matches the setting, proportions are there....I mean its nice.

lighting defines pretty much everything, usually most artists hardest, (So don't be to hard on yourself)
once you get it down you'll be able to do magic !
Pick up a drawing book all of them have lighting in them.
Just imagine light coming from a direction and anything it hits is lighter, and the opposed will be shadow...
kinda like for every positive action there is a negative action.
You had everything else right ! Nice Comp. Nice rule of three, subject, background...etc.
