I got bit by this bug while coming home from work today and just had to do it. Morpheus and V really play similar roles in their respective stories, although V doesn't just offer Evey the red pill, he shoves it down her throat. And I just really wanted to draw V with sunglasses on.

The Line 'Happiness is a prison, Evey. Happiness is the most insidious prison of all.' seems like it could easily be a Morpheus line and i love the composition of the piece.

Hey, I just watched the Matrix today. I was struck by several similarites between the two scripts.
It might be fun to do a decontruction of them. One I remember was the blind man in the subway...looked kind-a like Rookwood, but without the hat. And What Neo says into the phone at the end? Almost what V says to EV when she comes out of her cell in the GN and then what EV says to the crowd on the roof...*eerie music* Sounds like crossover fun to me!

And there's the whole "Born into bondage" idea they share, only Morpheus's is a bit more practical about it whereas for V it's a life philosophy.
