New Daring Do print commission for OtakuSquirrel , and finished just in time for G.M. Berrow's appearance at Nightmare Nights Dallas this weekend! Thanks! I can kinda see that- I was primarily using pencil/colored pencil brush settings for shading but next time I try that technique I'll try smoothing it out a bit more.

What types of brushes do you use? Especially for the pretty sketch-like shading, and the starry sky.

I believe for this one I used colored pencil brushes for the most part as well as some soft brushes for color overlays (such as adding a purple hue.) For the sky I used a combination of cloud brushes, star brushes, and a modified galaxy texture.

The textures are really nice, as is the soft purple lighting on Daring Do. That nighttime sky is beautiful! ^^
