Desc:it's been awhile- i have been forever busy
my new work has really left me with so little time to do scenes and stuff in DA-- this piece was created over the course of the past week- slowly working its way up to completion during the count of days- it's 3 renders done in different programs and assembled in photoshop
i was just experimenting handling colors and finding a way to mix them all up without losing focus on a scene- and this came out

Wow... I love the way the leaves of the trees contrast... it seems like an enchanted forest... peaceful, but so many things hidden in it... beautiful.

this looks like a tinted photograph, i don't know anything about renders. think there's a problem with the red in a few spots, upper right hand corner, but otherwise very nice...

You have some beautiful work. The detail in the terrain, from the moss on the rocks to the barks on the trees are done so well. The atmospheric lighting is superb. Nothing short of what I'd come to expect from you.

To me, it's too obvious that you blended the pictures. It's like you can see transparensies of stuff on top of other stuff in places where it shouldn't be. If this is how you wanted it, kudos to you, but... personally, I wouldv'e done it differently.

PS: this DID become my new wallpaper, so I didn't mean to come off like I hate your piece because of the font. I actually do like it a lot.

It looks really nice, but I'd strongly recommend removing the text. And if you were going to have text, that you don't use a weak version of Courier and that you don't put an obvious outer glow on it.
It's just so tacky for a piece that is so absolutely gorgeous.

Well, some people really like text,
but I think for something like this, the banner is enough on its own. I really think that text can ruin a piece fast.
but experimentation is good!

This picture is incredibly immersive and you get a great feeling of actually being there. I love the rock pool in the foreground ... it seems beuatifully tranquill. Your choice of colours are really interesting too. They have definately paid off, creating a really unique mood and atmosphere to you scene. Awesome stuff abe
