This piece is quite different from your usual work. It's creepy lol. I like it. Especially because you can overlook the piece and then suddenly your eye snaps back and you realize she's not normal, she's missing her skin! And, in my opinion that's the point of illustration.

Thanks!!! that was exactly what I was goin for, I wanted her to seem like a normal women from afar, so I keept the skeleton parts of her body in the shadows. Pity my scan wasn't very tru to the actual colors, but what can you do... XD

Well, photo editing does help that. I have to do that for every piece that I scan in. It sucks, but photographing doesn't help any better though :/

Hel is a vicious lady and ruler. Half her body is dead, while the other half is as fresh and alive as anyone.
