The first page has always got to have that needless filler because you gotta have a bit of a story so that everything adds up. If not then you might have just made a series of pictures and just how many full fledged comics are out there on the subject.

Anyway, it's not small secret that Minerva has always been a girl genius, that is if you've read her back story from lance, but now we have a newspaper type article to express it. And the reason that wording is out of focus is because I simply wrote a short story of nonsense that I can't remember. I think it was something about if you can read this then you're looking to close or something like that. Anyway, I made great use of the CE4's lighting effects and it looks like spotlights of an auditorium quite well. As you can see everyone looks picturesque but there's something lingering beneath the surface, which is explained more in the next up coming page which picks up the story a bit.

On a good note, doesn't Minerva look cute in that graduation uniform? I know it seems rather farfetched for a 8 year old to have a doctorate but then again Doogie Howser graduated from Princeton when he was 10 so yeah it's a bit of a stretch but then so was the series. So hurray for Minerva and her super-genius brain. Because in my opinion there just aren't enough super genius in today's media.
