Here's my entry for the Musically Inspired design challenge, and it's called "Choose your weapon".As the title suggests, the various instruments displayed are your weapons in the fight against, well, evil forces of not-so-good music.
These are all instruments that I love and have played for a while. These were my first choice as tribute to some of the musicians that I adore. I wanted to include more, but I hope this cuts the mustard.
Random trivia: The five lines marked by drips aren't without meaning. They represent the staff notation lines.
Lest you forget, every good boy deserves fudge. And F-A-C-E.

The only problem I have with it is, the lack of reference to a weapon choice of any sort. My advice is you lay out the instruments along the shirt in 8 bit with stats so on. A little color doesn't hurts.

Hmm..I think that makes sense. However, I wanted a non-traditional approach to that topic, hence, it's not as direct as you mention.
I do have some 8-bit-ish designs that I might put up, though.
