Years ago I saw the old D&D cartoon and there was an episode with a huge labyrinth which I loved the look of, while different yours evokes the same sense of awesome- I know it would be bad for me, but I just want to go inside...

When I first saw this I thought it was the Mystifying Maze card for Magic: The Gathering
But after looking the card up for comparison.. this is 1000x better.
Damn son.
I just mistook your spitpaint for a professional piece.

What you can do in 30 minutes is absolutely stunning, Mr. Canavan.

How the heck you can get all of those line patterns for the mase in 30 minutes is beyond me. I'd not have gotten one hundredth of the way finished with this piece in 30 minutes.... Albeit my background stuff sucks right now... I just got into spitpainting myself lately, you see.
Good stuff!

Sneaky tricks Paint it flat, black, then use distort tool to pop it into perspective. Paint over the black on a quick mask!

I'm horrible with background work... ^_^;; It's my whole reason for the Daily SpitPaint. Quantity practice where I can't have long sessions.

Paint flat maze in black, transform/distort into perspective, then paint over the black on a quick mask layer.

Reminds me of this musicvideo: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rjyVFâŚ
I love the picture! Great feeling in it. Would love to explore the maze (assuming there's no minotaur) Though it feels a bit arbitrary to leave it after 30 min, when you can do more

That is true. What matters most is working on something one enjoys, rather than forcing oneself.
