I love the Urnes style, I love any artwork from 600-1200 AD especially North West European art. Anything Celtic, Saxon, Nordic or Teutonic.

Well thank you for that comment it is greatly appreciated, however there are only three things that create a difference between my work and yours. 1)Technical knowledge, for that I recomend either amazon or your local public libaries and look up 'Aidan Meehan' lots of great books on creating knotwork. 2) Practice, well thats up to you. 3) This one is the kicker, the only real limitation to what you create is your imagination.

Hopefully soon I will be applying my intricate dotwork and knotwork to peoples skin's.

well i am working on a carpet page from the book of durrow at the moment so we shall see how that works out

Good choice, everybody does the carpet pages from the book of Kell's and the others like the book of Durrow and the book of Down get sorely neglected. Look forward to seeing the finished piece

My family is 100% Irish so Celtic Knotwork is a big thing in the art I grew up with.
