A pic of Ren Mikihari who, in my opinion, is the best female character in the show. Maybe it's because I like minor characters that act like her LOL ^_^Edit: I have been recently told that the original version of this was of Kaname, but being as I didn't know this I colored her in as Ren. So this is my Ren Mikihara variant of the pic

Not a problem at all. I just thought I'd let you know. If it wasn't for the fact that I'd already seen the picture from the novel I wouldn't have been able to tell otherwise! lol

Yeah sometimes I think they created Ren to be like an exact polar opposite clone of Kaname XD

I think your redrawing and coloring job is wonderful, however, I would like to make a couple of corrections.
a. The original picture is of Chidori Kaname (this could certainly and understandably pass as Ren!) from the end of the Full Metal Panic novel Burning One Man Force (BOMF) illustrated by Shiki Doji.
b. This picture did not come from a manga but from a light novel

So my question to you is⦠did you just redraw and color this picture as Ren?
I apologize if I seem rude, but I can assure you that I am not meaning this in a degrading tone, this just peaked my curiosity.

Nah it's not rude at all, in fact I prefer that people tell me when I have something wrong. When I found the pic it didn't say of who it was or from what it was from I just recognized the style as the artist who did the Full Metal Panic mangas. This also raised another problem because Kaname and Ren look so much alike in manga form, minus a different pattern for their bangs, it was a toss up for me to decide who it would be. So being as I like Ren's character I decided to draw the pic and color it as her, so even though the original might be of Kaname you could call this a Ren variant of the pic

nope Prismacolor Markers is the only thing I use for coloring ^_^

Not if your careful when you first start. After a couple of pics you can pretty much compensate for how much the markers may bleed. If you want I have a marker tutorial over in my Fanart-Central gallery, and if you want I can post it up here ^_^
