Today I watched his infamous match with Stan Hansen, where his eye fell out of its socket due to a miscue and was only held into place by the swlling eyelid. Despite this, the two of them had an AMAZING match that makes all the moonsaults and table smashes in the world seem insignificant.
People may think he's a jerk, but there's one thing he'll always be: a wrestling god.

that's what japanese pro wrestling is all about technique and substance over theatrics, they dont rely on selling moves like most american pro wrestlers do.
i wouldnt call him a wrestling god though ken shamrock said in his book that vader is very superstitous, he said that vader doesnt wash his wrestling tights coz be believed it wouldcause him badluck,
hes a great wrestler being a former worls heavyweight champ in wcw but have you seen him as the shock master??

While it's not very hygenic, I can sort of see where Vader is coming from in regards to his superstition: Michael Jordan always wore his college shorts under his jersey.
