THESE CHILDREN UUUUGGHHI did this sketch a while ago after I watched the 358/2 days HD movie/ cutscenes. It's kinda old but I still liked it so I coloured it!

Thereβs no way ALL of this was done traditionally, right? I mean, not that itβs a bad thing if done digitally. It just looks so freaking good! Like, how did you get that faded color look around the edge of the characters?

The lineart I did traditionally, but the colouring is digital.
I literally just used a soft, fuzzy brush and drew with white around the edges (above the lineart and colour layers). Then I changed the opacity of the layer to my liking.
I did the same thing above the colour layer, but underneath the sketch layer. Hope that answers your question! ^v^

Oh, so you left the line art intact which was done with... Iβm assuming colored pencil? Huh! That actually explains the the sketchy, stylized look. Very neat approach!
