Into the Void Event Part 3

Skidding into the event just in time ;D
Thanks for the extension, guys! Man, I only realized a few days ago that I still haven't made anything and if it weren't for the extension, I would have missed out!

So about the image:
This deviation acts as a sort of 'summary' of the past events leading up to the current one.
To recap: Rika and her Digimon, Delgamon, was with the group that went to save Eirik and Fenny. During the skirmish, Delgamon sort of 'glitched' while evolving from ultimate to Mega and was mortally wounded by Shezmon. The attack reverted Delgamon back into egg form.
After that emotional blow, Rika had to find out that her brother was caught up in the dark ocean, along with a lot of her friends. Poor girl started to spiral into a whirlpool of self-pity and blame. She didn't even have her own Digimon to cheer her up.
However, it was the kind words from people in the past and the present that gave her enough conviction to stand up, dust herself off and march on.
So she joined the group that went back into the dark ocean, Crystal Hart in hand, to go and save her friends. Little she could do with her Digimon still in egg form (resting safely in her backpack), she stuck to providing advice, care and support to the newer members. The girl was determined to be of some help, for her brother and friend's sake.

I would have liked to add more moments in the image, specifically with Emily and Crocutamon seeing as they were there when Delgamon almost got deleted. I could imagine some tender moments there TuT. But due to time and forgetfulness and busy schedules on both ends, we'll just have to see for next time X'D
Rika's backpack is a 'self-edited' version of these backpacks with fabric wings attached (which I can't find the link for atm orz)(found it ;D), since she's a self-taught seamstress and experiments with her own abilities, lol X3
