I used to know this guy in High School right? And he would always flaunt his cut wrists to everyone and tell people how much his life sucked.
He pissed me off so bad. He usually just did it to get attention and to get into a girl's pants...unfortunately, it worked. -_-
People pitied him because he was 'emo'. Although there was nothing to prove he had to be that lame.
Last time I heard he became a lawyer.

So anyway, this dude was basically the inspiration for the 'Emo' character. I wanted him to be as sad and pathetic as possible and moan about how much life hated him.

Although, the more I designed this character, and after he got his name(hee hee) and personality, I really liked him. So he turned out to be a little less of a p***y than I intended him to be. ^_^
And I think this guy has enough justification to be emo, right?

I love Joel on this page. I love showing his playful, yet sometimes immature nature.
