Me when starting: Yeah, ofc I can draw some dumb flowers -w-Me when sketching: I can't draw some dumb flowers ;w;
An art-trade with trashlord23 featuring her oc; Megumi ^^
It was really fun to draw her long flowy hair and the long sleeves on her kimono -w-
On that note, drawing kimonos is apparently a science. There's so many small details to remember, and I still don't really understand how the very long sleeves are/aren't affected by wind, and finding a reference to help was a bit tricky lol.
Tbh, I'm not sure if I got all the details of her design correctly, but I hope that it's at least close enough lol.

a little fun fact about her kimono:
kimonos are supposed to be folded left over right, since right over left symbolizes a dead individual. so since megumi is a shinki, I designed her kimono to be right over left.

I feel ya with flowers, they always seem so easy in idea but then actually drawing them is rough XD. I think you did a great job though. Her hair is also very pretty.
