Damon arrived at Obertauern early to be able to welcome the entrants to their day of rest.

He couldnt wait to meet Lyo again, and couldnt describe how incomplete he felt without him.

As the sun went lower on the mountains he saw Vidar leading the group, many people less than it was shown on the entrant list.

There were so many faces, familiar faces, but none the one he was looking for, no man in the royal blue uniform on his haflinger.

He realized Helena wasnt there either and felt the strangling feeling everyone was familiar with: that your worries became true.

As soon as Vidar had Kalinka safely in her stall, he asked Damon to follow inside so he could calmly explain what had happened.

He didnt needed a moment more to figure out the whole situation and stormed outside again, feeling like he couldnt breathe otherwise,

He had to keep his eyes on the horizon to calm his mind Lyo was ssssomewhere out there, maybe just about to arrive too.

Often he wasnt aware how strong emotions are tying him to his partner...friend...soulmate. But anytime he was gone,

he felt it again. The shattering feeling of something is badly missing in his life, of the drowning silence when Lyo wasnt speaking.

He so often could enlighten the worst troubles with his carefree smile, or just rip out people of their thoughts by inappropriate comments.

And now he was needing help, and he couldnt be there for him.

Hours passed by Damon didnt move like he mentally tried to guide Lyo down the mountain with Helena.
