Now, I am become Lisa Frank, the destroyer of worlds.
Wooo! Finally finished! This is my half of a trade with =animalartist16 . I chose to draw her awesome dragon/butterfly/tiger character, Brimagr --> [link]
Sorry it took me so long to finish it. It wasn't that I wasn't working on it or anything (trust me, I was - Eski's entire LS chat can vouch for that) but I just wasn't happy with the previous backgrounds. I couldn't make any of them work, no matter how much time/effort I put into them. The background finally "clicked" when I went back to thumbnails and started fresh with a completely new idea. It didn't take that long to finish once I had a better background idea.

OK. I finally got internet back, so it's high time I comment on this beauty. I apologize for how late I am with this. OTL
I love everything about this, especially the face, background and wings. The fur texture looks lovely, and the stripes work perfectly with it. You really got the powdery look of the wings down, and the glow is a really nice touch as well. The colors really harmonize together, yet Brimagr clearly stands out from the (phenomenal) background. The lighting is amazing as well, and the whole image feels so inspirational~
I have this as my desktop background right now, so I can look at it every day now :'D

This is misleading. I explore Dragon for many years. The dragon may not look "like anything", he has a boundary beyond which it ceases to be a dragon. To the dragon in mythology, these boundaries are located in the inner meaning, and for the modern dragon, these boundaries are in appearance.
