quick question. why is this deviation in "AnimalAnatomy"
never heard of a bee being the size or having the body of an animal before lol

I'm not sure if you were meaning to be facetious in this comment, but bees are animals as much as we are, as well as other invertebrates. : )

I didn't mean to come across as haughty - I apologize for the tone that got put across. I must say that insects are also animals, but I am assuming that you are meaning 'animal' as any of the larger species and groups, such as reptiles, birds, and mammals. : ) Sorry for the semantics lesson!

In my recollection, 'animal' is a term used to describe any organism that shows signs of life and are organic in nature. There are many kinds of animals, but they are animals all the same. I hope this hasn't made it any more confusing.

cheesyniblets In reply to bluenova25 [2011-05-09 09:25:38 +0000 UTC]
no, I said that insects are animals. It's not that hard to understand.

bluenova25 In reply to cheesyniblets [2011-05-09 17:11:43 +0000 UTC]
but you also said that we are animals to which would in turn make us insects no?

cheesyniblets In reply to bluenova25 [2011-05-10 09:26:13 +0000 UTC]
no. I really don't get how you can't understand such a simple argument.
We are animals. Insects are animals. That's it. That doesn't mean we are insects.
Here let me give you an example to make things a little easier for you.
Oranges are fruit, apples are fruit. That doesn't in turn mean that apples are oranges does it?

that doesent work... i dident say that either of us are bee's, i was saying that you said,"We are animals. Insects are animals", which in turn makes us insects...

ok. You're an insect. You might as well be. I can't think of a simpler way to explain it that you'll be able to cope with.
Here goes.
We are animals. Dogs are animals. Cats are animals. Lots of things are animals. That doesn't mean that we are dogs and cats does it?

Meeeeh, I rented it because of Jay chou, the movie was meh... it's like an intent of making it comedic, but serious at the same time. The movie is funny, but it isnt wow great. funny though.
